Wholesale Woodfloor Warehouse San Diego, has now been open for one month. We celebrated Labor Day last week with a tent sale, and helped numerous people upgrade their homes with new solid wood floors, laminate floors, and engineered wood floors. Many of our customers were surprised that we could actually deliver on our promise of supreme quality, without increasing the price. We are able to do this simply because we have superior purchasing power and many times buy directly from the manufacturer. When we flex our muscles and buy millions of dollars worth of flooring every year, vendors cater to our needs, and pass down fantastic prices, obviously you the consumer will benefit from this the most.

We now have three stores serving both northern and Southern California. We specialize in solid nail down flooring, hardwood floors, laminate floors and engineered wood floors. These are the most popular types of flooring there are to date. As carpets are become less and less popular due to the upkeep, and the unhealthy conditions they create and, tile is so cold and heartless, the warmth and beauty of hard wood floors remains unbeatable.

Do it yourself wood floor installation

Hardwood  flooring is is easy to do on your own, and i am going to tell you how.

Step 1. Find the appropriate type of flooring for your home.

- If you're on a concrete slab, you can either float your flooring or you can glue it down directly to the subfloor.

- If you are lucky enough to find yourself on a wood subfloor you can lay any type of flooring you want.

step 2. Remove the existing flooring, and make sure to clean the subfloor of any loose debris.

step 3. open a box, or two, or three and look at the pieces. This is called racking out your material, it allows you to chose the right pieces, so that yo do end up with all long pieces in one row, all short pieces in another. And it lets you mix the colors accordingly, so that everything remains totally aesthetic.

Step 4. Make sure your room is square. Use a chalk line to do this and never rely on your drywall.

Step 5. Face nail your first row down against the longest wall. Make sure to leave a 1/2" gap around all 4 sides of the room.

step 6. Begin laying your next row, make sure the edges of the boards are at least 6 inches from the edges of the other row, this will give you the best look.  while installing you will want to set the nail or staple approximately every 6 to 10 inches.

step 7. Enjoy your sexy new floor from Wholesale Woodfloor Warehouse

Good, well maintained flooring can set a positive tone for the entire intirior of your home.
“Like paint, flooring can help creat an a luxurious feel of spaciousness and airiness,” Weather it’s floating, laminate floor, tile, or a natural “green” alternative, lighter tone flooring can make formerly drab areas appear modern and streamlined,”
